Train to be a Nature Connection & Forest Bathing Guide

A 6 month hybrid training that is both accredited and approved by our Insurers.

Some of this course is online - mainly the underpinning knowledge and science, with online live teaching and practise calls and

A 5 day intensive in-person training in North Lincs

This training is focussed on practise, it aims to give you not only the underpinning knowledge and skills but also the practise in order for you to feel confident and competent to run your own sessions once qualified.

We are holding only one training session a year with a maximum of 12 students.

This is to ensure that your are given the time and attention to feel this training, absorb this training and embody it.

This cohort starts in January 2027 and at this stage we are able to offer a payment plan to help with affordability.

The full course is £1100 (this does not include accommodation or food during your in person intensive)

Payment plan: £150 deposit and the remainder paid in monthly instalments - all payments to be complete by November 26.

Before the course starts:

Part of the course requires you to read two books - Shinrin Yoku by Dr Q Li and Your Guide to Forest Bathing by Amos Clifford.

We are running book clubs focussing on these two books. The first book starts on March 18th on Substack ( free to join)

You will also be able to attend our Nature Connection week in 2026 to start building your practice as part of this course.

The In person immersion:

This will be based in North Lincolnshire and will be outside for the entire week.

It will offer a variety of landscapes to discover the different ways to deliver sessions including woodlands, coastline and river.

On the last day, you will be delivering your first group session to a group of local volunteers.

Certification requirements:

You will need to have attended all the sessions and practises

Completed each of the assignments (each module - focussed to help your overall practice)

Complete 5 case studies and a solo medicine walk

You will also be required to submit an outdoor first aid qualification and proof of insurance to gain your qualification

Once qualified you will be able to become a member of CMA as an assurance to your quality.
